We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Worker to provide holistic, client-focused care in the comfort of clients' own homes. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide personal care and assist with daily activities, following the Client Care Plan.">
  • Work closely with Registered Nurses to deliver client-specific care, including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, mobility, and more.">
  • Identify client care needs and work collaboratively with the client's care team to ensure high-quality, holistic care.">
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members.">
  • Support clients with light housekeeping duties to promote independence, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • Cert III in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent).">
  • Current Senior First Aid HLTAID011 , CPR HLTAID009 and Manual Handling HLTWHS005 (with 3+ months until expiry).">
  • A roadworthy and insured vehicle with a current driver's licence.">
  • Federal Police Clearance (within the last 6 months).">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for elderly clients.">
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards for home care.">
  • Commitment to safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.">
  • Preferred Skills: Understanding of person-centred care, Multilingual abilities.">
