Our team of experts is dedicated to providing innovative, cutting-edge aerospace products that enable our customers to perform critical missions. These include emergency medical retrieval, search and rescue, aerial policing, and disaster relief.

In line with our strategic plan, we are expanding nationally and in select global markets. We are seeking experienced aero, space, mechanical, and mechatronic engineers to join our dynamic team.

This exciting opportunity will see you working on new products for our civil and military clients, developing organisational capabilities, and leading teams to deliver high-quality results against challenging project targets.

You will have the chance to learn from experienced engineers, mentor our rising talent, work with advanced airframes, and drive innovation in a collaborative environment.

This role requires:

  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant engineering field
  • 3-5 years of experience in aerospace, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Experience with 3D CAD software and Product Lifecycle Management tools
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with prototyping and conceptual design

A typical day at HeliMods involves working on diverse projects, collaborating with colleagues, and delivering outstanding results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing digital and physical prototypes using CAD and augmented reality
  • Creating CAD, CAM, and FEA models for product development
  • Assisting colleagues on design developments and managing product risks
  • Conducting research to tackle engineering challenges and improve quality
  • Collaborating with the production team to oversee manufacturing processes

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
