Key Responsibilities
  • Digital Engineering Strategy Development: Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive digital engineering strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Talent Leadership: Oversee the Drafting & BIM team, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective implementation of procedures and standards.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with the Spatial Integration Division to deliver integrated digital solutions to Duratec Australia projects and clients.
  • Model Information Coordination: Coordinate the extraction and delivery of model information as required for design coordination, project management, project controls, cost consulting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Delivery Support: Provide delivery support on multiple key projects, offering innovative solutions while emphasizing quality, timely service, and budget constraints.
  • Clients Relationship Management: Develop strong internal and external client relationships to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
  • HSEQ Integration: Collaborate with the HSEQ team to integrate digital engineering with the company's quality management system, including document control and records management.
  • Business Systems Integration: Work with Business Systems and ITC teams to integrate digital engineering and BIM software/hardware.
  • Procedure Ownership: Own the company's digital engineering and design management procedures.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain an understanding of the latest developments in digital engineering and BIM.
About You

We are seeking a strategic thinker with:

  • Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or extensive experience in digital engineering/BIM management for major projects.
  • Common Data Environment Expertise: Experience in developing Common Data Environments and delivering DE Execution Plans.
  • Project Delivery Skills: Strong skills in project delivery planning, engaging users, and managing draftspersons.
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent technical knowledge of 3D CAD and BIM software applications.
  • Strategic Implementation: Ability to implement a strategy from start to finish using a staged approach.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Confidence and proficiency in engaging colleagues and clients to understand project requirements, pain points, and guide solutions.
