Marketing Coordinator Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to a senior member of staff, you will be responsible for developing successful relationships with local businesses, coordinating and attending local events, and working with management to achieve marketing goals.

Flexible hours are available, with the option to work 1-2 days a week in our Balcatta studio. Opportunities for additional administrative hours are also available if desired. Must be able to attend events on weekends and nights when required.

The role will include:

- Researching and Organising Local Events: Researching, organising and attending local events such as markets, expos, and quiz nights. Recruiting and managing a small promotional team is also part of this responsibility.

- Developing Relationships: Developing relationships with local businesses and community groups to achieve mutual goals, including brand collaborations and sponsorships.

- Coordinate Promotional Materials: Coordinating and managing all promotional materials needed for events with head office and the Balcatta studio, including signs, banners, flyers, branded collateral etc.

- Maintaining Social Media Presence: Working closely with the photography team to maintain the Viva Balcatta Facebook page, including scheduling posts and promoting local events.

- Managing Suppliers: Managing relationships with external suppliers such as printers for local area marketing initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will need:

- Previous experience in promotions, retail, event marketing or business development.

- Enthusiasm and high energy to consistently be self-motivated.

- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle able to transport event set up material.

- High level of organisational and time management skills.
