Senior Leader - Clergy Formation Culture

Job Description
As Senior Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the ongoing formation and support of clergy across the Archdiocese. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to implement the Archbishop's vision for clergy development, providing strategic and operational leadership to promote a culture of health, wellbeing, and pastoral effectiveness.

This includes developing and implementing a framework that supports spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing, as well as ongoing education and skilled ministerial leadership. The successful candidate will lead and build upon a newly established team, ensuring the Archbishop's vision is appropriately resourced to achieve targets and optimise financial performance.

The role also involves managing queries from clergy, providing a hub for answering questions and offering support as the Archdiocese implements this new initiative. This is a full-time role based at the Archdiocese's Office, with potential for hybrid work arrangements.

About You
You will bring strong leadership skills, a proven track record of implementing strategic initiatives, and an ability to engage with a broad network of stakeholders in a faith-based environment. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Demonstrated commitment to the teachings, values, and mission of the Catholic Church.
• Proven experience in senior leadership, particularly in developing and implementing strategic plans within the not-for-profit or commercial sector.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse stakeholder base and collaborate effectively to achieve specific goals and targets.
• Strong relationships-building skills, with the ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as adult education, theology, healthcare, or social work.
