Strategic Policy Lead Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Strategic Policy Lead
to join our team. As a key member of our Secretariat, you will play a crucial role in leading the implementation of strategic priorities for Catholic education in Australia.
About the Role:
Lead the implementation of strategic priorities for Catholic education in Australia, with a focus on faith formation and mission.
Contribute to national education policy development related to mission and faith formation.
Build and maintain constructive relationships with state and territory Catholic education commissions, government bodies, and other relevant organisations.
Promote a culture that reflects the teachings and values of the gospel.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement evidence-based policies supporting faith formation of school leaders, staff, students, and families.
Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes and goals.
Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of initiatives and programs.
Requirements:
A strong personal commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Tertiary qualifications in theology, teaching, and management, with a focus on Faith Formation and Religious Education (FFRE) in the Catholic education sector.
Extensive operational, leadership, and executive management experience within a systemic school system in a Catholic diocese or religious congregation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging clergy, religious, schools, families, government, and communities.
