About the Role

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities around the world. As a seasoned corporate counsel, you will be embedded with the Kuiper business, supporting commercial customer and partner deals across APAC.

You will play a crucial role in structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements with customers and partners. Your expertise in IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing services or equivalent will be invaluable in this position.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology, enjoys being continually challenged, and demonstrates sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. Some travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Kuiper commercial business development and sales efforts in APAC
  • Legal support including structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements with customers and partners
  • Counseling the business team on legal issues related to Kuiper's customer and partner contracts

Requirements

  • License to practice law in Australia
  • Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing services or equivalent
