The role of a Quality Assurance Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the quality of products and overseeing non-conforming items throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Timely processing of Non-Conformances (NCRs) and calibration of instruments.
- Conducting precise metrological services to ensure adherence to standards.
- Leading root cause analysis for quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborating with suppliers to resolve non-conformance issues and manage discrepant materials.
- Performing CMM programming and operation, and enhancing measurement techniques.
- Participating in maintaining quality system compliance and conducting internal audits.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing product quality through collaboration with manufacturing teams.
- Preparing and presenting quality control reports and training programs.
Applicants should possess a strong background in quality assurance and metrology, with a commitment to driving quality and improvement within a manufacturing environment.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working with high precision metrology instrumentation.
- Proficiency in CMM programming and operating, specifically with Hexagon PC-DMIS.
- Thorough understanding of GD&T principles and technical drawings.
- Demonstrated analytical skills for fault finding and issue resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a positive team environment.
