Job Opportunity:

A seasoned leader is sought to manage the front-line team in the efficient operation of reception. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and driving results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide timely support to residents with enquiries related to their residency, studies, and wellbeing.
  2. Develop and lead a high-performing team through effective recruitment, training, and development processes.
  3. Deliver regular performance feedback and coaching to ensure team members are equipped to meet their goals.
  4. Manage resident accounts accurately, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  5. Oversee check-in and check-out processes at tenancy start and end, maintaining seamless operations.
  6. Liaise with external partners to secure reliable services for building maintenance, cleaning, security, etc.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in student accommodation or hospitality industry preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
  • Reliable with strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills with proactive escalation when necessary
  • Competent in using various systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
  • Valid Registration Certificate with the Office of Fair Trading QLD
  • Recent National Police Check (within last 3 months)
  • Working with Children's Check (QLD)
