About the Role:

Grazing Restaurant and Function Centre is a renowned dining and event venue located in the historic Royal Hotel, Gundaroo. Only 30 minutes from Canberra, we offer an exclusive experience for our guests. Our focus is on local and regional wines and producers, with direct partnerships forged over many years.

We have a strong reputation as a highly regarded and multi-award winning establishment. The unique setting of Grazing in the historic village of Gundaroo in the 150-year-old Royal Hotel offers experiences rarely available so close to a growing metropolitan centre. We cater to large group events such as weddings, corporate occasions, and private parties, while also providing a vibrant A la Carte dining scene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including head chef and venue coordinator
  • Maintain high professionalism and communication skills
  • Organize and confirm daily bookings, including group and event enquiries
  • Recruit and train staff
  • Oversee quality standards
  • Rostering and stock ordering
  • Beverage and menu development
  • Customer relations

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years of restaurant experience (preferred)
  • Australia work authorization (preferred)
