We are seeking a strategic procurement professional to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
- Develop and implement tailored procurement plans and documentation to meet stakeholder needs.
- Lead tendering processes, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislative requirements.
- Provide expert advice, training, and support on procurement procedures, risk management, and best practices.
- Monitor and update procurement policies and systems to reflect industry standards and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design innovative supply solutions that deliver value for money.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, law, commerce, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a procurement role within a government environment.
- Proven ability to manage tender and quotation processes from preparation through to administration.
- Strong understanding of procurement legislation, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in contract administration and supplier performance monitoring, with sound risk management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
