Procurement Business Partner Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading procurement strategies and initiatives to ensure effective management of resources.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Manage tendering processes, requests for quotes, and panel access while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Provide expert advice, training, and support to internal teams on procurement procedures, risk management, and best practices.
  • Monitor and update procurement policies and systems to reflect industry standards and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, law, commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a procurement role within a government environment.
  • Proven ability to manage tender and quotation processes from preparation through to administration.
  • Strong understanding of procurement legislation, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in contract administration and supplier performance monitoring, with sound risk management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, deliver training, and engage effectively with stakeholders.
