Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to drive end-to-end strategic sourcing and procurement activities across diverse portfolios.

The successful candidate will lead tendering processes, develop procurement plans, and provide expert advice to internal teams on procurement procedures and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with stakeholder needs and service objectives.
  • Lead tendering processes for contracts, including requests for quotes and panel access, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislative requirements.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on procurement procedures, risk management, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design innovative supply solutions that deliver value for money and support service delivery.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, law, commerce, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a procurement role within a government environment.
  • Proven ability to manage tender and quotation processes from preparation through to administration.
  • Strong understanding of procurement legislation, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in contract administration and supplier performance monitoring, with sound risk management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, deliver training, and engage effectively with stakeholders.
