Procurement Excellence Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist to join our team. This pivotal role involves leading end-to-end procurement activities across diverse portfolios, partnering with stakeholders to deliver innovative, value-driven supply solutions. The successful candidate will bring strong government procurement experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for compliance, continuous improvement, and collaborative outcomes.

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will be responsible for developing and managing procurement plans and documentation tailored to stakeholder needs and service objectives. You will also lead tendering processes, requests for quotes, and panel access while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislative requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, law, commerce, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a procurement role within a government environment.
  • Proven ability to manage tender and quotation processes from preparation through to administration.
  • Strong understanding of procurement legislation, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in contract administration and supplier performance monitoring, with sound risk management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, deliver training, and engage effectively with stakeholders.
