Control Room Monitoring Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Control Room Operator to assume key responsibilities in monitoring CCTV systems, managing incidents, and anticipating potential threats. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate computerised logs and incident reports.
  • Conduct regular site patrols to ensure the security of monitored areas.
  • Identify and prevent illegal or inappropriate activities.
  • Collaborate with emergency services as required.
  • Manage access control to designated sites.
  • Monitor council and security communication channels.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Possession of current Security Licence + Monitoring Subclass.
  • Holding of Certificate II Security Operations.
  • Desirable: Gallagher Systems Administrator Certification.
  • Microsoft Office training is also desirable.
