Job Overview

The role of a Control Room Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring ongoing safety and maximum protection by coordinating and monitoring Mobile Speed Camera Operators.

This position involves working on a rotating roster, 12-hour shifts, days, nights, and weekends, both autonomously and as part of a broader team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor Mobile Speed Camera Operators' site allocations, vehicle setup, and enforcement session details.
  • Communicate effectively with Mobile Speed Operators to ensure ongoing safety and maximum protection.
  • Respond to incidents, support requirements, and reporting processes for Mobile Speed Cameras.
  • Monitor vehicle travel journeys, including speed alarms and duress systems while deployed.
  • Understand TfNSW Business Requirements related to the Mobile Speed Camera Program.

Requirements:

  • Experience in conducting control room activities in a similar environment.
  • Ability to deal with challenging situations.
  • Service delivery across a 24x7 schedule.
  • Previous experience in conducting incident investigations.
  • Ability to write and compile detailed reports.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone manner.
  • Computer-literate, comfortable adapting to and learning new systems.
