Job Title: Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused electrician to join our team, based out of our Esperance Grain Terminal. This role will provide preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed and portable machinery, across the Regional Esperance Zone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to bulk handling equipment, including elevators, conveyors, and fixed and portable machinery.
  • Diagnose and fault-find PLC-controlled equipment, which includes but is not limited to elevators and conveyors, trippers, and dust systems.
  • Complete basic administrative tasks aligned to the maintenance function.
  • Provide electrical assistance to our remote receival sites in the Esperance zone.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and genset powered assets.
Requirements:
  • Hold a current WA Electrical Workers Licence and an unrestricted Drivers Licence.
  • Work at heights, confined spaces, and forklift licence (desirable).
  • Able to work in high grain dust concentrations.
  • Experience navigating computerised maintenance systems.
  • Current hazardous area installation certification (desirable).
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis, staying on site 3 nights every second swing.
