Job Description

This role presents a fantastic opportunity to acquire experience in HR administration.

You will be part of a busy HR team, providing full support in all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, and ad hoc projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Develop job descriptions and assist with internal and external recruitment processes.
  • Coordinate new starter administration and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Monitor probation period reviews and Company Mentor Programme to guarantee all necessary measures are in place and reviewed in a timely manner.
  • Update HR/Payroll systems and employee records regularly.
  • Undertake ad hoc duties as required to assist the HR department and HR Manager.
  • Act as a positive example of company values.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A good standard of educational attainment with a minimum requirement for GCSE passes in English and Maths.
  • Sound IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office package, with ability to quickly learn new skills and become familiar with new software packages.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, able to relate to staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure, be a team player and possess high level of self-motivation.
  • Capacity to use initiative to pick up new skills and tasks easily.
