HR Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced HR Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the HR department, you will provide support and deliver operational initiatives to service our organization.

  • Provide consistent and compliant HR advice to line managers across operational areas
  • Build strong partnerships with operational leaders to support successful project delivery
  • Manage accurate information on the HR system and provide reports and data analysis across a range of HR metrics
  • Partner with managers on providing advice on all employment relations matters
  • Support organizational design and workforce planning activities and work with the recruitment team to onboard required personnel in a timely manner
  • Provide support to Recruitment and L&D Advisors as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field
  • Experience in an HR role within the construction, engineering or mining sector (or similar industry)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, clear communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building
  • Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation
  • Demonstrated ability to sensitively, confidentially and fairly manage people issues
