About the Role:

The ICT team is looking for a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team.

This role involves providing technical support and assistance to our clients in deploying, troubleshooting and maintaining their ICT endpoint devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct stocktake activities and manage ICT stores
  • Install ICT endpoint devices, establish network connections and perform physical work such as unpacking cartons and moving computers
  • Configure network settings including switch port configuration, network security management, DHCP and print services
  • Perform network connection tasks, patch cabling and trace connections from wall points to switch rooms
  • Prepare endpoint devices for shipment, sanitization and disposal according to provided instructions
  • Troubleshoot issues with ICT endpoint devices
  • Maintain incident, problem management records and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Transfer technical knowledge through documentation, instructions or procedures and guide other staff

Requirements:

Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) clearance required. Occasional travel within Australia may be necessary.

Candidates should have experience in desktop support, ITIL and SFIA skills HSIN 4, ITOP 3, USUP 3 and CSMG 3.
