Food Service Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Support professional to join our team. As a member of our catering team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and providing excellent dining service to residents.

About the Position:

As a Food Service Support Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing resident meal service, including assisting with meal preparation and serving food to residents
  • Supporting colleagues and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your peers, and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to seniors
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with diverse people
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain
