Catering Assistant Job

We are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team in Bathurst.

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and providing exceptional dining service to residents, ensuring a high quality of life.

About the Role:

  • Provide resident meal service, including assisting with meal preparation and providing a quality dining experience.
  • Support colleagues and maintain a cooperative team spirit.
  • Work safely to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents, adhering to all policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess a passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Hold a Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent qualification.
  • Have a good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene.
  • Display warm and empathetic interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with diverse groups of people.
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
  • Obtain NDIS and Police check clearance prior to commencement.
