We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Asset Management Specialists. As a key member of the group, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive asset registers, interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, providing technical expertise in the development of geographical information system capabilities for roads and drainage/stormwater infrastructure, and creating asset management solutions including GIS-based asset data and customer enquiry datasets.

About the Role

Areas of Focus:

  • Road and Drainage / Stormwater

You will be working on road and drainage assets, contributing to GIS information and analysis for strategic council reports while collaborating with internal departments. You will also coordinate the development, revision, and maintenance of individual asset management plans for civil infrastructure assets.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Australian experience within a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Ability to develop programs of works
  • Good understanding of road, drainage, and stormwater networks
  • Ability to create written documents
  • Capacity to conduct investigations into road, drainage, and stormwater networks
  • Experience in coordinating the development and management of computerized maintenance management systems
