Job Title: Asset Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Management Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of assets and compliance across various portfolios.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with external experts and contractors to ensure timely completion of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks;
  • Ensuring annual certification is completed in accordance with established standards and KPIs;
  • Procuring contractors and suppliers by preparing scopes of work, managing procurement processes, and creating technical documentation;
  • Formally engaging contractors using approved forms of contract and ensuring all services are conducted under the appropriate agreement;
  • Establishing protocols for monitoring the use of existing maintenance contractors on site, including scheduling future tender processes;
  • Coordinating activities and tasks associated with the development of annual preventative maintenance tasks with the Maintenance Program Delivery team;
  • Overseeing the engagement of external contractors in the delivery of maintenance, community refurbishment, and capital replacement projects with the Capital Works team;
  • Managing document control of contractors supporting the preventative maintenance program, including training registers, SWMS, etc., with the Asset Management team;
  • Developing reporting showing performance targets, including analyzing work data and program information, preparing contractor performance assessments, updating contracts and programs, and preparing requests for information (RFI).
