Job Role: Electrical Network Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Network Specialist to provide technical services and solutions to our Operations Delivery group. This role involves providing engineering expertise in the construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of electrical networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer technical support, identify areas for improvement, manage operational risks, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with various business units to implement initiatives and projects that impact Operations Delivery.
  • Pursue and implement technical enhancements related to safety, efficiency, and performance.

This position will focus on the Substations area of Operations Delivery, working closely with field crews, project managers, specialist contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Distribution Network.

About You:
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (essential).
  • Have in-depth knowledge of power system engineering principles and extensive experience in operating and maintaining high voltage plant and equipment.
  • Be capable of leading technical work, mentoring, and supervising developing engineers.
  • Have experience driving the implementation of engineering processes and technical work practices.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
