Role Overview

You will be providing engineering services and solutions to support the construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of electrical networks.

This is a full-time opportunity based out of our Cambridge depot, offering an attractive remuneration and benefits package.

The role focuses on the Substations area of Operations Delivery and will be working with field crew, project managers, specialist contractors and other key stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Tasmania's Distribution Network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for the operations delivery group
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to improve efficiency and safety
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and initiatives

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (essential)
  • Sound knowledge of power system engineering principles
  • Extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of high voltage plant and equipment
  • Ability to lead technical work and mentor developing engineers
