
Electrical Network Engineer

As an Electrical Network Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering engineering services and solutions to support the operation and maintenance of Tasmania's Transmission and Distribution electrical networks.
- Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Tasmania's Distribution Network by providing technical field support.
- Identify and implement technical improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and execution capability.
- Collaborate with various business units to coordinate and support implementation of initiatives and projects impacting Operations Delivery.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and sound knowledge of power system engineering principles.
Additionally, you should possess extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of high voltage plant and equipment, as well as the ability to interpret and practically apply legislation, standards, and industry guidelines in an operational environment.
A well-developed communication and interpersonal skillset is essential for this role, allowing you to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups.
