Seeking a skilled professional to provide technical field support and implement engineering processes in the construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of transmission and distribution networks.

About The Role

This challenging role requires expertise in power system engineering principles and extensive experience in high voltage plant and equipment operations and maintenance.

  • Provide expert technical support to the Operations Delivery group
  • Identify and lead the implementation of technical improvements relating to safety, efficiency, and execution capability
  • Collaborate with field crew, project managers, specialist contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient network operation
About You

To succeed in this position, you will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, possess sound knowledge of power system engineering principles, and have extensive experience in high voltage plant and equipment operations and maintenance.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical work and mentor and supervise developing engineers
  • Experience in driving the implementation of engineering processes and technical work practices
  • Ability to interpret and practically apply legislation, standards, and industry guidelines in an operational environment
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to work across multiple stakeholder groups
