About the Role

This role involves constructing, installing and maintaining distribution electricity networks. You'll work closely with colleagues to ensure the network remains safe and efficient.

You'll be essential in supporting the expansion and success of this critical service as we continue to innovate and evolve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Study and interpret technical drawings and network line diagrams.
  • Undertake construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks in accordance with policies, quality systems and HSE procedures.
  • Respond to emergencies on high/low voltage distribution assets.

About You

For this role, you'll need strong technical knowledge and experience working on overhead and underground line networks. Exposure to external best practices is also desirable.

  • Hold a current Tasmania Electrical Licence.
  • Be qualified in Glove & Barrier techniques.
  • Have a valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle licence is highly desirable).
  • Hold a White/Blue card.
  • Be prepared for regular travel within the state, including overnight or longer stays as required.
  • Work outdoors in various types of weather.
