Sr Manager, SOX and IT Compliance

Job Description

This is a key role within the Internal Audit team responsible for overseeing internal controls over all in-scope systems. The individual will coordinate SOX-ITGC and other IT regulatory compliance activities with various stakeholders using a consultative approach.

The successful candidate will lead as the Compliance subject matter expert working with cross-functional process owners to help achieve ongoing design, reviewing, testing, improving, and remediating the IT systems controls for regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing IT processes, systems, controls, and policies that align with industry standards.
  • Conducting risk-based internal audits to identify control weaknesses, exceptions, and deficiencies in operations.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • Professional certification such as CISA, CIA, or similar.
  • Recent hands-on experience in remediation of compliance deficiencies and material weaknesses.
  • Strong understanding of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, 2013 COSO framework, and SEC guidance for management's assessment of internal controls over financial reporting.
