Grant Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Grant Administrator. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support policy areas across the department through the design, establishment and management of grants.

About the Role:

This role offers an opportunity to work on the development and implementation of tools and resources to support the Grant Administration Model. You will be responsible for providing responses to general queries related to grant design and escalating more complex queries to senior team members or business owners as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality responses to grant-related inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assist with process and project tasks assigned by senior staff.
  • Liaise with the Grant Assessment Centre as required.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organised records and electronic filing systems.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of grant administration processes by identifying areas for efficiency and proposing improvements.
Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of grant administration principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
