Clinical Director for Youth Mental Health Services

The position of Allied Health Professional Lead Practitioner (CYMHS) involves leading a multidisciplinary team to provide high-level clinical leadership and develop new youth mental health services. This role requires a senior allied health professional with expertise in clinical leadership, complex case management, assessment, counseling, and/or therapy within mental health or related sectors.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within the team environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing strategic direction and guidance to the CYMHS team
- Developing and implementing innovative treatment programs for young people and their families
- Collaborating with experienced leaders and consultant psychiatrists to design new youth mental health services
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, applicants should possess:
- Experience in clinical leadership, complex case management, assessment, counseling, and/or therapy within mental health or related sectors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration and teamwork
Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $123,717 to $138,296 per annum, as well as superannuation and access to leave entitlements and benefits. Additional allowances may be available, including a Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum and support for travel and relocation assistance up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas.
