Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic leader with a proven record of delivering complex projects. As a Project Manager in our Land Command Systems team, you will be responsible for leading a diverse, multi-disciplinary team to achieve capability outcomes for the ADF.
Your role will involve developing and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships, including senior-level Capability Manager Representatives and Industry Partners.
Our successful applicant will have exceptional project management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills and experience.
The ideal candidate will have a significant record of achievement in project management and outcome delivery, including the management of high budget, high complexity activities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a geographically dispersed multi-disciplinary team to deliver strategic capabilities.
- Develop plans and processes to enhance the achievement of project delivery within a wider strategic context.
- Exercise a considerable degree of independence and are responsible for complex problem solving and leadership in projects that directly impact strategic and operational outcomes for Defence.
This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP).
