Support Role for Independent Living

We are seeking passionate and caring individuals to support older Australians in their homes, enabling them to live independently for as long as possible.

This varied and rewarding role involves travelling around Northern Sydney and Lower North shore suburbs, supporting and connecting with clients, and assisting with daily tasks within their care plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting clients with day-to-day tasks, including cleaning, tidying, washing, and other activities.
  • Transporting clients to appointments and shopping.
  • Preparing meals.
  • Providing social support or respite for family/carers.
  • Assisting with personal care, including showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained).

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to vulnerable adults.
  • Comfortable interacting with a diverse range of people.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Reliable team player.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety.
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential).
  • Australian driver's license and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential).
