About the Role

Curtin University is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our team at the Goldfields University Department of Rural Health (GUDRH) in Kalgoorlie. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to facilitate the delivery of day-to-day activities and special projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collate and organise information for reports and area activities.
  • Perform a wide range of general administrative duties in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Schedule, administer, and support meetings and events for the Department.
  • Facilitate general purchasing and procurement in accordance with Curtin policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support for strategic projects and activities.
  • Contribute to the development, review, and continuous improvement of administrative procedures within the department.
Requirements
  • Experience in providing general administrative support and the ability to apply skills to a varied range of tasks.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with general direction.
  • Oral communication skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of people in a clear and professional manner.
  • Ability to organise time and work activities according to priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Computer literacy with skills in a wide range of applications, including word processing and/or spreadsheet packages and email.
  • Completion of a relevant qualification and/or considerable relevant work experience.
