Senior Enterprise Account Manager

This role demands interaction with large-scale enterprises at the CISO and CIO level, as well as with technical staff within the security and messaging organization. You'll work closely with your team of sales engineers, partners, and leverage corporate resources within your account base to establish strong business relationships and drive sales growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing strong business relationships at the executive level
- Advanced solution selling capabilities
- Conducting sales presentations
- Coordinating multiple resources within an account
- Consistently and successfully closing business for Proofpoint
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be extremely results-oriented, possess a strong business acumen, and have a proven ability to build a strong business pipeline, accurately forecast, and close business with strong interpersonal and presentational skills.
Your day-to-day
- You'll focus on hunting and developing new Proofpoint accounts in the Enterprise Sector for North Australia.
- You'll establish strong business relationships at the executive level, advanced solution selling capabilities, conducting sales presentations, coordinating multiple resources within an account, while consistently and successfully closing business for Proofpoint.
- You'll work with System Engineers and product specialists to prepare account strategies and plans.
- You'll partner with marketing and the channel to gain access into new accounts.
- You'll maintain up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint's competitive positioning in the marketplace.
What you bring to the team
- Minimum 2-4 years Sales experience generating net new business (managing an existing book of business).
- Demonstrated consistent 100%+ Quota Attainment and President Club attendance across multiple years/roles.
- Proven experience selling a complex multi-product architecture to Enterprise organizations, selling into C-level Executives to Evaluator-level Engineers.
- Experience managing an entire sales cycle from start to finish.
- Minimum 1–2 years Cold Calling experience (not tech, SaaS, or Security specific).
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn new business and technical concepts quickly.
- Competitive nature, but also a collaborative team player.
- Strong presentation skills, both in person and via virtual channels.
