Job Opportunity: Senior Financial Strategist

This role presents a chance to shape financial strategy in a dynamic market by driving compliance, transparency, and growth. With senior leadership responsibility, it offers scope to expand influence and the opportunity to see insights translate into real impact.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Tasks and Transaction Review
  • Deliver end-to-end accounting tasks, proactively identify transactions, balances, and processes requiring technical review.
  • Assist with implementation of accounting standards, policies, procedures, control frameworks, promptly reporting and resolving gaps/key risks.
  • Data Management and Reporting
  • Foster a data repository and be the main point of contact for information requests.
  • Financial Statement Preparation
  • Manage the preparation of audited annual and interim consolidated financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory disclosure requirements.
  • Work with other finance team members for tax reporting, budgeting, intercompany transactions, audit, and treasury management.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Cooperate with other teams in M&A or other projects as required across the group for due diligence and deal arrangement.
  • Establish strong connections with internal and external stakeholders, mentoring junior members in the team.
Key Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in financial accounting, CPA/CA qualified or near completion.
  • Solid knowledge of financial control, reporting, and accounting principles and practices.
  • A high degree of flexibility and ability to prioritize work.

Bonus points if you also have knowledge of sports & gambling, cryptocurrency, Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Jira.
