Job Title: Administrative Support Specialist

The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an administrative support specialist to join our team. The focus of our team is on providing world-class healthcare to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Provide administrative support to clinical business units that provide outpatient services, working collaboratively and effectively with clinical and other staff and patients
Organize and coordinate patient appointment activities, including the arrival of patients, booking appointments, management of cancellations/rescheduling of clinics
Provide effective and co-operative communications by responding appropriately to visitor enquiries at reception and within the work area
Complete patient registrations and ensure up-to-date and ongoing accuracy of patient-related hospital information systems

About You

To be successful in this position, you will require:

While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded
Evidence of vaccination or ability to be vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (cost covered)

Salary Details

Permanent full-time role
Base salary ranging from $76,963 - $85,591 per annum
