We are seeking a dedicated Support Mentor to drive the success of our programs.

About the Role

You will facilitate workshops for school students and learner drivers, building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and communities. As a key team member, you will promote respect and trust-based relationships with Aboriginal students in partner schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Bro Speak sessions to promote positive outcomes.
  • Maintain connections with community members, identifying needs and barriers to accessing support.
  • Incorporate local knowledge and practices into activities.
  • Identify and promote employment opportunities.
  • Support participants with training and employment activities.
  • Assist with pre-employment activities, including digital literacy and job applications.
  • Facilitate solutions to barriers to full participation for individuals.
  • Assist participants with gaining a driver's licence.
Requirements

A full driver's licence and vehicle are required. A Police Check and Working with Children check must also be completed.
