About the Role

This is a five-year fixed-term SES 2 role. As Executive Director, you will shape the department's strategic budget direction and lead initiatives that deliver value for the Victorian community. Reporting to the Deputy Secretary, you will oversee the development of new funding strategies, identify commercial revenue opportunities, and drive reforms that strengthen financial sustainability.

You will also lead an assurance function that provides governance, systems, and capability frameworks to optimise resource allocation and deliver tangible project benefits.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, economics, or related discipline
  • Proven record of leading a commercial function in a large complex organisation
