Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced Research Grants Manager to join our team.

The successful applicant will manage an extensive suite of competitive research grant and fellowship funding schemes, engaging with a broad range of stakeholders both internal and external.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in contributing to the development and delivery of initiatives targeted towards raising awareness of and participation in competitive research grant and fellowship funding schemes.

Key responsibilities include managing an extensive suite of competitive research grant and fellowship funding schemes, engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, and providing high-quality support and training to researchers.

The successful applicant will be responsible for working collaboratively with internal and external partners to identify, attract, and manage funding from competitive and commercial sources.

Requirements:

  • Education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the completion of postgraduate qualifications
  • Extensive relevant experience in research grant administration, particularly across larger national and international funding agencies
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the current research funding environment, national policies, and funding issues
