Senior Research Development Officer

The Senior Research Development Officer role is a critical position within the Group Research Development Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to researchers in identifying and securing funding opportunities.
The role involves providing expert advice on specific funding opportunities, including the preparation and review of grant applications. This includes assessing researcher readiness for particular grant schemes and developing strategies to support their research ambitions.
The ideal candidate will have postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in higher education, research, industry or government. A PhD is highly regarded. Key skills include the ability to identify, conceptualise and develop successful grant applications, as well as knowledge of international and national research policy environments.
About You- You will have the ability to work independently in a team environment, with strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- You will also possess well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with an ability to work under broad direction.
This position provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the success of the Group Research Development Team.
