About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced allied health professional to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality mental health services to children and young people under 18 years with severe, complex, or acute mental illness.

  • The successful candidate will provide assessment, treatment, and case management to clients and their families in accordance with professional competencies and standards.
About the Team:

CYMHS Northwest Tasmania is a tertiary statewide mental health service providing care to children and young people with severe, complex, or acute mental illness.

About You:
  • You will have postgraduate experience in child and youth mental health or related field.
  • You must have current Working with Children Registration and a valid Driver's Licence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care services aligned with strategic plan and professional competencies.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement holistic treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments, risk assessments, and safety planning for clients with mental health needs.
