This role offers a unique opportunity to provide person-centred, recovery-focused and trauma-informed care to children and adolescents in Northwest Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver specialised mental health care to paediatric inpatients including assessments therapeutic engagement and trauma-informed interventions within a multidisciplinary team.
- Support leadership and resource coordination assisting senior nursing and psychiatric staff in managing care delivery and team operations.
- Ensure high-quality consumer-centred care maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and adhering to clinical standards and best practices.
- Contribute to team culture and leadership helping build a collaborative positive environment and supporting policy implementation and clinical governance.
- Promote safety and quality identifying clinical risks participating in safety initiatives and supporting continuous improvement in care outcomes.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
