Network Administrator Position

The Opportunity
Davidson is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join their infrastructure team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will work across corporate and operational technology networks, providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of the network infrastructure.
The Role
As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting the network infrastructure, including leading the upgrade of switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices. You will also manage vendor relationships and support agreements, maintain and review architectural documentation of network assets, and provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders with varying levels of IT knowledge. Additionally, you will be required to install network hardware at remote assets across Queensland.
About You
To be a successful applicant, you will have demonstrated experience working in network administration, as well as proficiency in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure. Strong Cloud Computing Connectivity understanding, preferably Azure & Express Route, is also desirable. Industry certification, such as PCNSE, PCNSA, PCSFE, CMSS, CCNA, CCNP, or Network+, is preferred. Excellent communications skills and vendor management experience are essential, as is an Open Class Driver's License (Unrestricted).
