Job Description

The role of a Planner within an investment fund at Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation involves providing high-quality, personalised financial advice to valued members by delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.

This position requires the ability to deliver personal intra-fund financial advice in line with legal and regulatory frameworks. This includes participating in professional development activities and maintaining certifications and licenses required for the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personal, intra-fund financial advice that meets legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain relevant certifications and licenses.
  • Contribute to team discussions and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Achieve key performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, compliance, and appointment targets.
  • Maintain effective relationships with key contacts and relevant third parties to produce successful business results.
  • Collaborate with Customer Group leaders to develop and deliver regular reporting across teams.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Australian Citizen.
  • Undergraduate degree or above in finance-related discipline.
  • Minimum 12 month direct financial planning experience.
  • Australian Financial Services (AFS) license or authorised representative status.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with a diverse range of people.
  • Commitment to high standards of professionalism and compliance.
