Strategic Financial Advisor

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position that requires an experienced financial professional to drive strategic initiatives and improve funding activities across our organization.

The ideal candidate will oversee funding contracts, coordinate debt facility transactions, and develop financial models to inform investment decisions.

This role is critical in supporting our mission to eliminate housing poverty.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Funding Activities: Oversee funding contracts, coordinate debt facility transactions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop Financial Models: Create complex financial models to inform investment decisions and support strategic initiatives.
  • Sustain Business Growth: Identify opportunities to improve funding operations and develop strategies to achieve business growth.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all funding activities are compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Support Treasury Team: Provide additional support to the treasury team as required.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in treasury operations and debt management, ideally within banking or construction.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • A self-driven approach with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • A passion for delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently as part of a wider team and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
