About the Job

  • Plan, organize and manage the credit control team's workflow.
  • Provide accounts and credit control support to the teams across different regions.
  • Collaborate with other members of the credit management team to achieve shared goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee debtors ledgers and ensure timely payment from customers.
  • Assess customer credit limits and adjust as necessary to minimize bad debts.
  • Identify high-risk customers and implement strategies to reduce the likelihood of non-payment.
  • Evaluate insured limits to protect the company's financial interests.
  • Review accounts escalated to external solicitors for collection.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and department managers to align business objectives.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and set targets for yourself and your team.
  • Pursue project initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Compile monthly reports on customer payments and receivables.

Requirements

  • Multiple years of experience in credit and collections management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a sales-focused environment with emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Skill in resolving conflicts with customers while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Affinity for detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing debt recovery.
  • Proven track record of staff performance management.
