About the Role

The primary objective is to plan, organise and manage credit control team performance targets.

Ongoing accounts/credit control support to Branch Network, collaborating with the credit management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead debtors ledgers and ensure team meets performance targets
  • Set customer credit limits where necessary and monitor their status
  • Risk analysis, identifying high risk customers to reduce likelihood of bad debts
  • Evaluate insured limits and review escalated accounts forwarded to external Solicitors for collection
Requirements
  • Multiple years of experience in credit and receivables management
  • Ability to work in a sales-focused environment and manage argumentative situations
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, sound knowledge of relevant state-based debt recovery legislation
  • Leadership skills including staff performance, productivity, morale and motivation, and capability development
