About the Role:This is a key leadership position within our organization, responsible for ensuring the financial health of our business through effective credit management.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a high-performing credit team to drive optimal work allocation and performance outcomes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive credit strategies across residential and small business portfolios to ensure timely debt recovery.
- Manage external relationships with agencies and debt collectors to drive results.
- Establish and maintain robust credit policies, frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align credit strategies with business objectives.
- Provide accurate and actionable reporting on credit exposure, risk trends, and performance metrics.
- Proven experience in leading credit functions, including credit risk, collections, and customer management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data analysis and interpretation.
- Experience managing vendors and driving transformation activities.
- Industry knowledge and understanding of complex regulatory environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and solve complex problems.
